Using the plants in the surrounding environment we will be looking to create a set of images which have abstract qualities. We will consider the importance of framing ,composition and focus. . We will explore how the 'formal' elements of light, colour, shape, texture, pattern and line can be manipulated to create intriguing images.

In this session we will explore different approaches to using depth of field in our images using the city as our stimulus. We will look at examples from the past to see how photographers have used depth of field and focus to convey ideas.
